Thank you for visiting my website.
My name is Camille Babington, I am French-American. I have recently graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography. I grew up in the United States but I am a native French speaker and return to France every year. I have tutored in the United States for about 3 years and in Montreal since 2014. I have had clients of varying ages, backgrounds, and levels.
My teaching method:
  • Interactive
    • Walking to places in the city and practicing with other speakers
    • Grocery store, art gallery, clothing store, etc. (wherever is convenient for you)
    • Improves vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation, and most importantly confidence!
  • Using the arts
    • Learning about songs, paintings, culture, games, history, books, etc.
    • This is the most fun way to learn any language, in my experience.
  • Fun ways to learn grammar
    • Making booklets, charts, etc. using only the most effective methods
    • French grammar is difficult but it can be much simpler using the right tools!
    • Proven memorization techniques
  • Your hobbies and interests
    • Vocabulary & conversation that pertains to your life to make things more interesting!
*Over Skype:
If you do not live in Montreal, the best option is tutoring over Skype. The online method does not have to cease being interactive! In fact, conversations online are quite effective. Contact me and get more information on this method.*
I hope you will choose me as your teacher !!
